We will try this out
I found this fun little idea on a friends blog and decided to play along! I can't wait to see what she makes! ;) So here's what it is...The first five people to comment on this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!2. What I create will be just for you.3. It'll be done this year (hopefully sooner than later.)4. You will have no clue what it is going to be.5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange. The catch? Oh the catch is that you must re-post this on your blog. The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me you did will win a marvelous homemade gift by me!Let the games begin!!
Viva Las Vegas!
This weekend Galen and I and our friends Tia and Justin went to Las Vegas. I went to a wedding at the temple for my friends John Valenciano and Kendall Robertson (now Valenciano). It was beautiful and I was happy to be there to support them. All in all it was a great weekend and we did lots of fun stuff. We all went to see the Tournament of the Kings at the Excalibur. It was awesome. We had great seats and the King of France, in whose section we were sitting, was the tournament winner, so we got to stand and cheer loudly. We walked from the Excalibur all the way to Treasure Island and by the time we got there it was 11:00. We took a cab back and then went to our hotel, the Plaza (aka Roach Motel) and spent some time on Fremont Street. It was a great weekend and we all had a good time. I have to say though, that getting home and sleeping in my own bed was fantastic last night. Glad to have had to oppertunity to travel and get away, but always glad to get home again.

Yo Quiero Taco Bell
So we had an interesting thing happen the other day. Galen and I were going to have Taco Bell for dinner so he called me and asked me wha I wanted from there. Then about three minutes later he called me back and asked what I wanted from somewhere else. I asked if they were closed and he said no, but when he pulled up to the ordering box at the drive-thru, the employee said, "Welcome to Taco Bell. I will not be making ... and she named off several menu items. Well Galen hadn't even begun to order before they were telling him what he couldn't have. Being the pro-active female that I am, I made sure to put in a call to Taco Bell INC. I told them what happened, they said thank you for my comments and advised me that they would be sending me some coupons. A few hours later I recieved a call from the district manager in the area, who after hearing my story, was appalled. She told me she wanted me to go in to see the manager, and that he would by our dinner. Well Galen didnt want to go with me because I think I must embarrass him with my strong nature, so Tia went with me. The manager apologized to me, and told me that they had run out of product. I told him, if they would have said something about being out of product, instead of just saying they wouldn't make it, I would not have been so upset. Anyway, he said she is soon on her way out because this isn't the first time she had talked to guests so crudely. I had an enchilada platter, and Tia had already eaten so she just had cinnamon twists. All in all, a very productive call to make a formal complaint.

Let's See.....
Well, It has been a while since I last blogged. I have been pretty busy. I have been going to the gym three or fourt times a week. The last two days were really hard. My frind and motivator, Tia, has been sick. So I went alone. It is so not fun without my friend. Work has been going really well. We had a training on Tuesday morning, where we wnt over some goals for the coming year. For now we want to get at least 12 crowns done a month, and 4 root canals a week, those kinds of goals. So far so good. It is only mid February, and I already have 12 crowns, so we will see what the rest of the month brings. Galen and I are still looking for a house. We have looked at quite a few, and I think that I may have found a house that I love. I am going to go and look at it again tonight. Tomorrow, Galen and the kids and I are going to the Draper Temple Open House. I am so excited. This will be the first temple Galen has been in. I am always excited to go to the House of the Lord. Marlyce is celebrating her 100th day of kindergarten today. She was really cute about it. They had to bring 100 items in to show the class. She put together a 100 piece puzzle and glued it to a box to bring in. Then this morning, she wanted to wear a dress to school because it is a special day. Fun. Well I guess that is life for now.

Josh Turner
I went to a Josh Turner concert on Thursday. My friend Erin, won tickets on the radio and took me along with her. It was so fun. The concert was at the Depot at the Gateway in SLC. We didnt have table seats, but we were close enough. That man is very handsome and he has a great voice. I actually didnt know much of his music, being someone who doesn't listen to a lot of country music, but there were a few songs that I did recognize. Most important was that we had fun.

Kitty: Part Deux
So there seems to be more to the story about killing that cat. I have decided that karma plays a huge role in this. About two weeks ago, I was telling Isaac and Marlyce a funny story about my mom and the van that was lovingly nicknamed, The Biffmobile. It was so named this, because my mom hit all sorts of animales in it. Dogs, birds, cats, rabbits, and the famed antelope (which she claims hit her, and not the other way around). Well as children, after giving the van its name we had to creat songs to reflect its character. To the tune of the Batmobile, Nananananana nanananana Biffmobile!!! And the old Sharon, Lois and Bram's Elephant show theme song, Skina-ma-rinkee-dink-a-dink, Skina-ma-rinkee-do, I Biffed You. And so on. Well I thought it would be funny to teach these treasured songs to my children and tell them all the stories behind it. So now as you see, the cat was killed because I was talking ill of a beloved vehicle. Also on Wednesday while working, Tia, Dr Orrock and i were having a discussion about how we dont really like cats. More Karma. Well there is also more beyond that. I am pretty sure that I am being haunted by the poor things ghost. On Thursday I was getting ready to leave work. I went to the door and looked out the window, and there was a cat there. We made eye contact, I opened the door, and he vanished. I looked all over the parking lot, down the stairs, under vehicles, across the street, but it was as if the cat hadn't been there at all. Perhaps it wasnt. Either way, I think it is following me. So as a word of caution to all of you, do not speak ill of God's creatures, or you will kill one and then be haunted after that.
